Plain Doesn’t Mean Boring
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup spelt
- 1/2 cup rye flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/4tsp salt
PREPARATION
- Mix all ingredients
- Let your dough rise for 2-12 hours, at room temperature (15-20°C
- Place your dough in the LID of your Dutch over, placing the main body as a very tall cover.
COOKING
- Preheat your oven to 230°C about 15 mins before cooking
- Place Dutch oven in lower middle of your oven
- After 30 mins, lower temperature to 200°C and remove Dutch oven, leaving bread in lid
- Cool on wire rack for at least 60 minutes (so it cuts well)
SERVING
- Slice and eat with cheeses. meats, or even just butter.
